Here are some of the resources we are using in our Open & Affirming Process:

• Disciples LGBTQ+ Alliance: This denominational website includes various resources about LGBTQ+ inclusion in the church and the Open and Affirming Process.
• GLAAD Media Resource Guide: Learn preferred words and definitions about LGBTQ+ inclusion and what words are defamatory, offensive, and problematic. The guide also includes fact sheets on various topics as they relate to LGBTQ+ communities: nondiscrimination laws, marriage and parenting, religion and faith, hate crimes, HIV and AIDS, and "Conversion therapy."
