Meet our Pastor
Rev. Brandon Proffitt
Why, hello there!
My name is Rev. Brandon Proffitt. You can call me Pastor Brandon, Rev. Proffitt, Rev. Branmuffin, or, honestly, whatever feels most comfortable to you.
I earned my MDiv. from Phillips Theological Seminary in December ‘21. My spouse, Meg, and I made our way to the mountain-lands from the plains of Lincoln, NE.
One of my greatest loves in the church is the table where we gather to share and be in communion. It is the one place where all of God’s beloveds are on equal footing. It is the place where we practice the faith we live out from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth. It is the place where we learn how to practice truly Christ-like love.

I look forward to seeing you and getting to know you, but until then, “Love and serve your God by loving and serving your neighbor.”
Siocháin (Gaelic for Peace),
Pastor Brandon

Pastor Brandon 's Fun Facts
#1
My spouse, Meg, and I share a cat, Goose, a large yellow tabby cat who is as ornery as his namesake. (He is named after the flerken from Captain Marvel, not the cantankerous bird from the north!) We have recently added to our family with the adoption of another 4-legged companion, Ms. Marvel, who is a 2-year old Great Pyrenees/Golden mix. You will likely see her around the office if you come in.

I began my ministry as a half-time pastor at a small country church and a part-time bartender at a local brewery. Because of that, Meg and I have enjoyed getting to celebrate local craft beer both where we live and when we travel. It has been an unexpected and rewarding aspect of my ministry.

My interests are eclectic and likely full of surprises; from football to futbol, RuPaul’s Drag Race to Great British Baking Show, culinary tourism to social justice advocacy, Disney princesses to Marvel superheroes. Put mildly, I am reasonably well-rounded in my interests.

I am a born and raised fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers Football team, which I hear is a Colorado red flag. If that wasn’t enough, I am also a Kansas City Chiefs fan, which is a Denver red flag. Hopefully you won’t hold that too much against me. We are also soccer fans, especially the USWNT. But, I also excitedly learned of the local MLS team, Colorado Rapids, and look forward to following them.
