Our Vision
We envision Evergreen Christian Church as a community practicing wholeness in a fragmented world—embodying God’s love, cultivating belonging where there has been exclusion, healing where there has been harm, and nurturing hope where the world has grown weary.
We Strive To Follow Jesus
Despite diverse theological views, we share a commitment to follow Jesus and his teachings. We provide a supportive community where individuals can share their journeys, support each other, and grow together in faith. We do this, recognizing that we live in a modern world where our diversity of cultures and beliefs live side by side, and the diversity does not preclude our loving neighbors.

We seek to live out Jesus' commandment to love each other and, in particular, our neighbors as ourselves: we engage in social justice initiatives, advocating for issues such as anti-racism, environmental stewardship, and economic equity. We are an "Open and Affirming" church that welcomes the LGBTQ+ community with open arms. We embrace the many people who have been harmed by the judgment of less welcoming Christian communities. We help each other in ways that are supportive and not judgmental. We strive to be genuinely kind and helpful to each other.
